Our Story
WaresBortonLogistics.com is based in Waynesville, Ohio with an additional location in the Akron/Canton area. In 2005, Christi was part of a team operating a hotshot and realized there was a need for small fleets and owner operators to have somebody in an office finding loads for them. If drivers are sitting in a truckstop looking for loads then they aren't making any money.
It was at this point that Christi established a dispatching service for hotshots and full size trucks and began working with several small companies, becoming very effective in keeping the drivers rolling.
In 2012, Christi was given the opportunity to purchase the authority and fleet of one of the hotshot companies she was dispatching for, Marks Xpress Trucking & Hauling LLC. In a stroke of genius, she brought on a top notch team consisting of her daughter Marisa, son Collin and daughter-in-law Nikki.
